Ways to Give

Donating to the Colchester-East Hants Public Library and/or our Colchester-East Hants Public Library Foundation is an investment in literacy, education, culture, and the vitality of the Colchester-East Hants communities. We rely on the generosity of our community to expand and enhance our collections and service offerings. If you wish to make a monetary donation, you have two options:

You can give your donation directly to the library.

The Library is a registered charity (#10695 1742 RR001) and we issue tax receipts for income tax purposes for all monetary donations.

You can drop off a cheque/cash for the Library at one of our branch locations, or mail it to:

B2N 1G9.

Cheques to the Library should be made out to “Colchester-East Hants Public Library.

You can also give your donation to the Colchester-East Hants Public Library Foundation

The Foundation is a registered public foundation (Charitable Business No. 85594 1332 RR0001) and they issue tax receipts for income tax purposes for all monetary donations.

Grants from the Foundation to the Colchester-East Hants Public Library are used for technology acquisitions and improvements, funding for special projects and collections, and funding of capital projects; the Foundation does not provide assistance with the Library’s operating costs. The Foundation works closely with the Library board and staff to ensure that your contribution is put to the best use.
